Comparative Immunology and Cell-Based Water Screenings

Currently, our lab explores two main research projects:

  • Investigating innate immune receptor mediated signalling through the context of leukocyte immune-type receptors commonly found in jawed fish species.

  • Using immune and bacterial cell bioassays to gauge the biological responses of water samples from industrial and environmental sources.

Together, these projects highlight prokaryotic and innate immune responses on cellular and molecular levels.
